As many as 1700 racing shells are expected for this weekend’s Head of the Fish Regatta.
Sponsored by the Saratoga Rowing Association, the regatta is a major event in the rowing world. Events begin early Saturday morning, and continue through Sunday afternoon. All races take place on the northern end of Saratoga Lake.
College teams row on Saturday, while high school squads row on Sunday. Teams from both Skidmore College and the Saratoga Rowing Association, representing the high school, will be competing.
Saratoga Wire will be bringing you pictures from the Regatta all weekend.
